“I rarely know what a song will be about at the beginning,” Brook says. “It usually starts with a guitar part, which might sit there for days, weeks, or months until the theme and lyrics fall into place.”

Brook’s approach is as instinctive as it is emotionally rich, and it’s clear she’s found her footing as a powerful new voice in indie music. With a strong local following and a commitment to creating honest, meaningful work, she’s one to watch.
